SURF SHACK

PROJECT: New Construction

LOCATION: Wainscott, NY

SIZE: 1,000 square feet

Completed in 2019, the Surf Shack was a conversion from a historic barn in Wainscott, NY. We took the old structure down to the foundation and rebuilt it to what you see. The interior is a mixture of teak and western red cedar, which is fairly uncommon. The space is now used by the home owners and their sons as a place to relax and come back after a day of surfing.
